Way too soon.

Kevin Duckworth passed away last night August 25, 2008. He was 44 years old.

Duckworth was huge player on the court, 7 feet tall and 300 pounds when he played. He was even a larger person off it. He was always involved in the community and was one of those rare athletes that was accessible. A huge heart.

Back in the early 90’s when the Blazers were competing for championships, as a child I would always pretend to be on the team, always comparing myself to the big fellow.

I feel like going and shooting some hoops.
