A moment of silence, please...

At approximately 9:14 p.m. (PST) on April 21st, the Houston Rockets' post-season was officially declared dead.

While technically still having a pulse, there was no reasonable hope for advancement and doctors decided against prolonging the pain of an entire franchise.

Investigators are still looking for the culprits. Expectations placed too high on an unproven and injury prone star, lack of consistent interior defense, and heavy reliance on "Skip to my Lou" have all been identified as suspects.

While losing Yao is tough for the Rockets going into the post-season, the injury that hurts them the most is Alston by far. They've already proven that they can win without Yao (New Orleans, Denver, Dallas, Lakers to name a few). You cannot hope to have any chance in the playoffs without your PG. I mean look at how much playing time Aaron Brooks is getting. McGrady choking in the 4th quarters isn't helping them either.

They are led by Tracy McGrady. Just look at his track record in the post season...Nuff said
