NFL Draft

So the NFL Draft started a bit earlier than most people thought it would. The Miami Dolphins have agreed to contract terms with Jake Long an OT from Michigan. Now all they need to do is solve the problems at other positions like DL, LB, DB, QB, and
WR.

Any thoughts on when and were some Oregon players will go?

Cam Colvin
Dennis Dixon
Geoff Schwartz
Jonathan Stewart
Yvenson Bernard
Joey LaRocque
Alexis Serna
Eric Angie

The Miami Dolphins (laughing to myself)....anything they can do to steal some TV time from Tom Brady.

Jonathan Stewart is a "sucker's bet" period. I really don't think he is tough enough. Throughout his college career he has had these nagging injuries that always seem to hinder him one way or another. If he can't stay healthy playing college ball, how is he going to last in the NFL?

I agree with Loren, Dixon will not be a quarterback. Name one good running quarterback in the NFL. Will his draft team develop an option offense around him? I think we are more likely to see Oden back in a 24 Hour Fitness than see Dixon become a pocket passer. Early 2nd rounder.

Dennis Dixon - second round - Bengals. Drafted as a wide receiver, he'll be best known for choking Chad Johnson to death because, "The dude just wouldn't shut up!"

Jonathan Stewart - third round - Broncos. Jonathan Stewart rushes for 1242, 1630, and 1849 yards in his first three seasons, then gets traded to the Ravens and is never heard from again.

Erik Ainge - second round - New York Knicks. Taking advice from Isaiah Thomas, Walsh drafts Erik and holds him at gunpoint until Danny Ainge agrees to swap rosters.
